About

The road leading to this new endeavor has not necessarily been direct, but I do believe I am here for a purpose. Originally graduating with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, my years in healthcare highlighted my love of working with people, developing a keen eye for stream-lining processes and really underlined the life-and-death importance of attending to details.

Married to commercial photographer, John Keatley, I began splitting my time at the hospital and managing the photography business. As the years passed, I left the hospital setting, and transitioned to full time work at Keatley Inc. It has been exciting to work alongside John as his career has made several pivots. Each pivot has not only brought our business to exciting new places, but it has afforded me the opportunity to learn a variety of skills and to see how the business is directly impacted by consistent marketing and branding, quality and reliability.

For four years, John and I hosted a workshop called Survival Guide. Aside from the opportunity to gather an amazing group of photographers and other artists together for a long weekend, it was our desire to pull back the curtain on what it takes to move an individual’s passion for art and creativity beyond a hobby, into a thriving career. We shared all that we had learned in the previous decade, and have had the joy to watch many of those artists’ careers take off.

My transition into consulting is a recognition that the success John and I have had is in part because we have had each other. Having a partner who can check the grammar and word-smith the newsletter, to send out invoices in a timely manner, and create a killer treatment when bidding on a job, has freed John up to be more creative and to have success in the work he loves to do.

There is nothing that fills me up more than to see people living into their dreams and potential, and if I can support that, I’m here for that every day. I love this work.
